Really ups the ante for other developers, I wonder if it’ll be like melee and cntinue to be one of the best looking games on the system.

looks sharp! though i’ve always thought link should have brown hair. Apparently he’s setting the trend though: link, bond, sam jackson… such a fashion savy elf

That’s pretty impressive if you think that the Wii CPU an GPU are just “a die-shink and a overclock of gamecube’s ones”

Just awesome… that just proves that you dont need ps3 graphics to make a awe looking game on the Wii.

I’m going to go with droop4 on this. I watched some vids and if nothing else this game does look really good. Is it PS3? No, but it is certainly the best I’ve seen, better than even Mario Galaxy which looks great.

Any true Smash fan knows that graphics don’t really matter in this series… However I’m excited about how polsihed the new game looks.

Pretty nice. I wish they had done all the characters. I want to see the progression of all the major characters.

Its pretty nice seeing as how you can have a fast pace fighting game, with multiple character, tons of background animations, and tons and tons of items, and special effects with no slow down.
I’d say the progression is clean and well done.

The new Smash certainly looks nice, but I have to say that there isn’t much graphic progression in these two character models going from Melee to Brawl. It might look that way due to a more realistic style for both characters, though.
And I haven’t even considered the time span. The leap from 1999 Smash to 2001 Smash is infinitesimally more profound than from 2001 to 2007. (2cts. Mine.)
