I really like the daily updates. Even though characters like Yoshi are already a given, it is very cool that Nintendo is slowing leaking out information on a daily basis. Definitely keeps Smash Bros. fans on the edge of their seats for some unexpected revelations.
I am still hoping for some off-beat Nintendo characters this time around, and FAR less Pokemon. Ridley, anyone?

I’m sorry but I can’t see Ridley as a character. Speaking of that, why does everyone want Sonic as a character? I love Sonic (my favorite franchise) but if you’re going to put a Sonic character in, I would think put Knuckles, he would be a much better fighter than Sonic.

The announcement of these old characters makes me wonder… Will all the old characters from past Smash Bros. games be playable? Staples that haven’t been announced, like Captain Falcon and Luigi and Ness, are sure to come back. But what about the more obscure ones, like the Ice Climbers and Marth and Mr. Game n’ Watch? They didn’t drop characters in the jump from the N64 to GameCube, but they also didn’t incorporate non-Nintendo characters. Will the arsenal expand or will they get rid of the characters that were a bit of a stretch from Melee to make room for the new ones?
