Rayman Raving Rabbids 3 Teaser

Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at 10:10pm by Jake

Throwing in Balance Board support with a waggle fest should make for some hilarious stuff.

Question: When will Rayman be taken out of the title?

Never. Maybe this time he will be hiding under the balance board.

Saw this last week. Balance board or no, I hope 3 goes in a different direction than the overly short and repetitive 2 did. The first one had its share of almost unplayable minigames but RRR2 only lasted my family a day or two. There was nothing as endlessly amusing as the cow tossing or even “draw the food to feed Marlon Brando Bunny”, and the rail shooter segments, while technically impressive with the FMV mixed in, just didn’t seem as fun the second time around.

And what was with that anesthetist minigame? It’s practically deterministic unless someone screws up on their turn.

    I got a better question.

“When will these games stop sucking?”

The only good thing about all these rabbid games are the teasers.

yeah, i sure hope raving rabids doesnt become a yearly thing. but it will probably be determined by the sales of this 3rd one. maybe they are hoping the balance board will give them the same unique ideas that the wiimote did for the first one. but then even if so, that means the game should end after the third one, at least until the wii2 comes out since i doubt nintendo will come up with any new hardware after the baalnce board.
unless its mind controlled games, which are being worked on at universities right now, and doing decently well with. but i think thats a few years off from any consumer uses. maybe just in time for Wii2.

I saw this a while ago and I still laugh at it. I think they should never have put rayman in this game, just kept it as Raving Rabbids, Rayman has no real influence on the games, no more than any other character could anyway. I miss the old games like on the gameboy colour, those rayman games were great….

I’m actually a mild fan of the series, and liked 2 for the ability to really customize the multiplayer experience by creating your own selection (”trip”) of your favorite games and then telling the game exactly how long you wanted to play for… It draws from your hat at random until time is up, highest scorer wins. I’ve had a lot of fun with it. The balance board being supported for 3 makes me more interested to pick up the balance board, but since single player rabbids (or almost anything) is no fun and I don’t think I can afford multiple boards, I’m still a little skeptical.

I feel like i’m the only person who can’t stand these games. Sure I laughed a little the first time I saw an ad for it, but no i can’t stand those stupid bunnies! The entire game seems to based on finding a lame excuse to have them scream that awkward yell.
And it’s JUST a mini-game collection - and i’ve played them, they really aren’t very fun.

    Maybe it’s just me.

Ya, they should remove Rayman out of the title as he has little to do with the game… Also part 1 was more fun than part 2 and hope part 3 give more than just short mini games but make us do multi-task.
