Racketboy impresses with best Wii games under $20 list

Racketboy over at retro gaming is good at making lists because the man knows his games. A lot of them. His recent article, the best Wii games under $20, is filled with numerous keepers, including 10 Wii, three GameCube, four WiiWare, three “near the $20 mark,” and about 30 more “other cheap favorite” titles. This alone, excluding regularly priced favorites, is enough to discredit the tired “there’s no games on Wii” expression.

Pretty dubious methodology he used there, using eBay/Amazon averages to come up with those prices. I’d LOVE to know what store I can walk into and find Excite Truck new for less than $50.

dang, this is online too?
oh well.
I dont buy online, so i am stuck with in-store deals. Last time i bought cheap, circuit city was having the greatest deals ever. almost a dozen good wii games for $17
to see if they have more like that, go to circuitcity.com and make it list only the wii games under $25. priced low to high. hopefully this is something that happens often.
They even had MSRP $40 games that low.

forgot to say, all circuitcity stores do price match their site.

If he’s going to count GameCube games as games to play “on the Wii” then there are a ton of good cheap games to play on the PS3 as PS2 games.

@residentialevil:
Yes, but crucially, with buying last-gen games to play on Wii, you don’t need to first cross-reference your potential bargain with an online BC compatibility list! :-p

Yeah it’s crazy but I love excite truck and I’ve been waiting for it to come down in price so others can get it. So far every thing has came down except that game. Hell it’s worth it though. So few people know about it though you really have to set down and get good at it. Very addicting!

Zack and Wiki, Geometry Wars, BlastWorks…
Some of the best games on the system are on that <$20 list.

My two favorite games of all time are probably Super Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker.I hope to eventually get Blast Works.
