I don’t know how many of you out there are Killer 7 fanatics, but if you are then prepare yourself for a new level of excitement. Like the kind where you pee your pants a little. What, you don’t? Me neither.
Anyway, Wii-obsessed Ubisoft just informed IGN’s Matt Casamassina that No More Heroes will be coming Stateside in February 2008.
Ubisoft on Wednesday revealed exclusively to IGN that it has picked up the rights to publish the anticipated Wii action game No More Heroes in North America. The title will release stateside next February, just two months after the Japanese ship date.
I don’t know about you, but with all the No More Heroes stuff I’ve seen in the Intertubes these past few months, this feels like a pretty big deal. Ubisoft is going to clean up once again, thanks to the Wii.

Yeah, I’m a big fan of Suda-51. He’s an incredible designer and adamantly “out of the box”. I’ve been looking forward to No More Heroes since it was first announced. I love the art style and the character designs….except for the main character….he looks like a complete dork. I’m amazed that Ubisoft is going to publish it, though. Mabye I’ll be able to get the hook-up….

I’ve been sitting on a copy of Killer 7 for about 3-4 years now, never played it.
Maybe I’ll finally get on that pretty soon.

Killer 7 is an amazing acid trip that every gamer should drop. It is truly a cult classic, and experiencing it is like being initiated into the cult of cool (as cool as geeks get, anyways).
I hope Ubisoft puts some marketing muscle behind No More Heros. They’ve already got my $50, but this game needs some exposure to be anything more than niche.

Excited to the max! I’m a big fan of Suda 51. In fact, his games are where I got my username.

This game looks great except for some of the worst voice acting I’ve ever heard. Seriously. Eeesh.

Suda 51 = underrated game designer
Seriously, Killer7 was absolutely brilliant. He can very well be the Tarantino of video games with his off-the-wall dialogue, non-linear story line, and stylized violence.

DOOD! This is awesome! Cant wait!
Suda51 is a true genious and wont dissapoint.

I can’t wait; I hope Ubisoft does strictly publishing, though. Their design has gone a bit downhill…
