Pre-odered this when I got Brawl. Looking forward to this one even more than Brawl. I was always a better Kart player than a Smash one.

i’ll prolly go preorder it. i already preordered guitar hero aerosmith though so i’m not sure i’ll have enough money for both of them since they come out pretty soon after each other (aerosmith’s in july)

Must resist the urge to believe this.

Wow. Early.
SO , is this good news then? Does it indicate that the Wii will have a couple BIG titles in the fall Winter?
Lets hope so.
Cant wait to play….

Aaah! Too soon! How will I balance my online Brawling with Karting?
March 12th, 2008 at 11:35 am
If the online play is going to suck as much as it does for Brawl, I think I’ll just skip it. I’m tired of not being able to enter into random matches and constantly getting disconnected.

awww yeah. just give me yoshi and set me loose!

Does anyone else think a free-air steering wheel is going to tiring and old really fast? Couldn’t they have anchored it to your lap like the XBOX wheel? Even a thumbstick gives you a little “feel”.
I’m excited for the game - Double Dash is prolly my favorite non-zelda cube game. I do wish the Wii game had a double kart, though. My kids and I had a blast with that coop gameplay style..

I can imagine resting the wheel on your lap, so you’re not actually holding it up in the air 100% of the time. Maybe you lift it up for a really hard turn. I think it will be fun.
But I’ll probably go back to using the nunchuk because it’s more precise.
March 12th, 2008 at 1:00 pm
I haven’t seen the “options” for playing Kart. Can you play with the nunchuk? Is it a viable way to play?
March 12th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
Man, this is so unfair!
You in America get it on April 27th and you got Brawl earlier than us.
We in Europe get Mario Kart Wii on April 11th while we don’t even know the releasedate for Brawl.
Lousy unfair world!
March 12th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
@ Rushli0n you can play it with any controller option: Wiimote, wiiwheel, wiimote/nunchuck, classic controller or GC controller
We get it on the 11th which jsut so happens to be my birthday! Good times…
March 12th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
So, should I get Brawl now or just wait for Kart later? I just can’t have both at the same time!
March 12th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
Oh boy, how far are they going to push this one back? =D
March 12th, 2008 at 9:35 pm
anyone else fear this might include the pay to play service that was posted a while back…?
March 12th, 2008 at 10:31 pm
The pay to play service is a module for low-budget, third party titles that will rely heavily on dedicated servers to maintain persistent gaming environments. The first titles to really use it probably wont be seen until sometime in the fall.

Brawl, Kart, Fit…Oh My! Month after month Nintendo has Sony and Microsoft reeling.

Excellent, luv Mario Kart! Hope they fix the online issues before then! Lets hope the E3 games announcements can follow all this gaming goodness up
