Mario Kart Wii debuts in Europe and Japan this week

Most of the rest of the world will get to hop online and take their Mario Kart for a spin on Wii this week. The Americas will enjoy some Kart action later this month. Anyone international Infendo fans out there getting their copy this week?

My birthday is on the 11th so the same day it is released. Fingers crossed my parents will pick it up/wrap it for me before I get home from college XP

Nope i still haven’t picked up No More Heroes, and my brother even though he is looking for some multiplayer action will probably just pickup the Naruto fighting game.

If this lags even half as badly as Brawl, it will be unplayable. You can’t have a racing game with lag, it just won’t work. So… I’m curious to see how it goes. I’ve got my fingers crossed.

I’m still noticing some lag to some degree but it’s not nearly as bad as the first couple of weeks. Games with friends have been virtually flawless.

Yes. Some matches have been lag free, but too many are still laggy.

The laggiest that I’ve experienced lately have actually been when playing friend matches on the Infendo brawl night.
It’s definitely much much better than when the game launched, but it’s still not good enough, in my opinion. Playing Quake 2 with a 56k modem back in the day was less laggy than many of these matches.

Mr Kochalka and I have Brawled successfully on many occasions, but I know we’re both on the East Coast, for what that might be worth. Add a 3rd person into the mix and we’re usually fine. Add a 4th and it’s guaranteed to lag.

Yes, this friday and I’m looking forward to it. Anything that will make the wait for Brawl go faster over here in Sweden will do, especially some Mario Kart.

Hard to believe it wasn’t delayed, and that Miyamoto didn’t “upend” anything this time. Amazing!

I’ll be picking it up friday as soon as work ends… if it hasn’t sold out that is.
Considering I live in middle-of-nowhere Japan I’d be quite surprised if that happened.
