Join the Infendo Guitar Hero III tour group!

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007 at 10:45am by David

doubleneckscorpions.jpgThere is a brand new Infendo tour group at guitarhero.com where Infendo Nation can jam together. Just search for “Infendo” under tour groups or go straight to:
http://www.guitarhero.com/tour_groups/215158.

Once we get a good group together, look forwards to some Rock Nights and Tournaments and other fun stuff. If nothing else, it should be a good way to build up your friend roster with the people you know and love from Infendo!

[Big ups to McClain142 for putting this together!]

Can we please throw something post-Christmas. I will be getting GH3 for Christmas, and would like to rock out with my fellow Infendoites.

Yeah, I’m thinking a lot of folks are getting it for Christmas. We’ll make something happen!

Well, not sure how much good it will do me, since I’m European and most of you folk are American, but I’ve signed up. Hopefully some more PAL Infendoites will sign up as well. My experience with GH3 online so far has been… non-existant. It’s literally impossible to find a random game.

I’ve found that if you create a game (which only takes a second) someone will find you very fast. I don’t know if they are set up by region (unlike Mario Kart, etc., there is no region/world option), but you should give that a try.

I have tried it once or twice with no effect. I’m not giving up, though if you think about it, I can sort of imagine why finding a match might be hard. After all, if you have to create a game and then wait for however long for a rival, you might just give up and gave another try at frikkin’ “Raining Blood” ;)

Anyway, as for region-locking… The one other online Wii game I have, Strikers, sadly _is_ region-locked. Also, the manual for Metroid Prime 3 explicitly says that credits sent to American or Japanese Wii owners will be lost. It’s all ridiculous but it’s true. I’d like it not to be the case with GH3 but I’m not getting my hopes up.
