Indianapolis Legends looks like poop on a stick

Has anyone seen the video for Indianapolis 500 Legends on Wii? It’s a visual mess of a game stuck in the time continuum of 1994, no kidding.
The trailer looks and feels like one of those DOS games I played as a kid. The footage is reminiscent of a time when the only file sharing tool available was a 3 .5 floppy disc and a bus ticket. To prove my point, I grabbed the best looking still from Indianapolis 500 Legends and sided it with the worst looking screen from Indianapolis 500: The Simulation, the 1 MB DOS game. Can’t see the line, can you Russ!!??
Sometimes I get the feeling that Wii programming is getting more and more relaxed in the worst possible connotation. There’s no excuse for any developer out there to port another Resident Evil 4 in terms of graphics. We consumers have to draw the line somewhere. – Marcelo Ferri

Yeah, I watched it the other day. I thought for a moment I was looking a N64 game I played a lot way back when, some Indy racer, can’t remember what it was called. It had great graphics……….IN 19-FREAKIN-98. Indianapolis Legends needs to be canceled….NOW.

When I first saw your post I thought “hey, these graphics don’t look so bad!”… Then I read it and realized it was a game for Wii!! Before, I thought this game was being released on the DS!

What is going on with these supposed to be developers, that game looks like a clone from Cruis’N, my son can draw a better picture than that with a box of crayons…
Do these developers think they can make a game within 3 month and than call it a game with a $50 tag on it? Or developers think Wii owners have low standards or no tech knowledge or dont know any difference between them. thats just plain ignorance
Cruis’n looks like the 16 bit era now this looks like is in between the SNES and N64 , this kinda stuff better stop, this can not be tolerated anymore … why they dont make $hyt like this on a 360 or ps3 console? I dare them . its no difference with the Wii..
Games like this should never see the day light and canceled ..

Lazy programming team!
I’m sure that fans would agree on waiting a little bit more to receive the best feasible version.
From the Wii console right to the trash can!

I’ve ignored this for a while now thinking that people were expecting too much from a DS game no one would buy, but I finally read the first sentence. This is a Wii game. Those are bullshit gaphics. Bulls*** would look better than that game does.

N64? Pah.
I’d say the original PSX Gran Turismo looked better. At least that had environment mapping.

Nice Christmas Vacation reference.
Oh yeah, and those graphics look terrible. I know the Wii isn’t supposed to be a powerhouse when it comes to graphics, but that just looks like the developer is not even trying.

Even Excite Truck looks better than this!
