God save the Queen — and Nintendo

Not that Nintendo needs saving or anything… but I was feeling corny tonight and word on the street today is that the good Queen of England, when she’s not not governing the United Kingdom in her ceremonial role, can put “some killer English on a bowling ball in Wii Sports.
The gadget-loving Queen has become HOOKED on Prince William’s new Nintendo Wii games console. William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton bought him the £200 gift for Christmas - but he now has to share it with his grandma. A Palace source told The People: “When she saw William playing a game after lunch at Sandringham she thought the Nintendo looked tremendous fun and begged to join in. “She played a simple ten-pin bowling game and by all accounts was a natural.
Jolly good. Great for the Queen and the British Isles. However, and this could be me, but for some reason whenever I try to imagine the new Nintendo scene at Buckingham Palace and the Wii-playing Queen, images of dancing, gyrating doilies haunt my dreams for a week.

Dont worry, Sony fanboys, and feel good because she had said something about sony before… way before the Wii about sony’s product!

Someone needs to tell the britt press…it is known as Wii, not Nintendo Wii, The Wii or and other prefix.

Frisby, I bet in Windsor Castle they refer to it as “The Royal Wii.”

Good for her. Of course, it follows the trend of everyone else….she likes Wii Sports and that’s it.
Not that I expect the Queen to be an avid gamer.
