Never been too interested in tomb raider games, but this does look pretty cool. The wii is introducing me to a lot more games that on the cube for example, i never would have bought, it really is great
The reason, I think, that Wii is introducing us to new franchises as opposed to the GameCube is that most third-party developers are jumping into the Nintendo wagon (finally!) due to its unprecedented selling success.
True… I would even say that Wii is re-introducing veterans of old franchises (like Tomb Raider) to them through a whole new way of interacting with the games…
I’m with Jamie, I’ve never been a tomb raider fan, but I will definitely put this on my possible to buy list. That video got me real excited with all the interaction in the puzzles and even the chintzy “cineractives” seem a bit more fun.
Good job crystal dynamics! It’s already been reviewed well on other systems, this should only be better if deliver on the controls.
Never played a Tomb Raider (nor was I was really interested), but this game has peaked my interest especially since the puzzle elements has been ramped up significantly.
Well I guess i’ll give it a try, never had the chance to play any of the Tomb Raider games. To me, ports or whatever you want to call them are fine by me.
Tomb Raider is looking cool , I like how they use the spatula to carve out the dirt to expose a clue , even at a low-res video thats youtube the game still looks good..
Well, it looks to be a PS2 port visually with no upgrades .This is a little disapointing.
However, the new ways to do things with motion control looks very cool.Lets hope thay can spend enough time on the Controls, dont rush it and make a great controling game here.
I hope it turns out great, but it could become another half assed port of a PS2 game with tacked on “Waggel”. I hope not.
the controls look kinda of like how u would control a 3rd person shooter on a pc. if they could pull of a mouse and keyboard type of control like this it would be pretty bad ass. i hope more wii games use it in the future.

“…due to its unprecedented selling success” AND the realization that is a kick-ass piece of hardware with loads of potential!

I thought the motion controls looked a little tacky. :/
