Famitsu lauds RE4 Wii Edition with high marks

IGN is reporting that Famitsu magazine likies Resident Evil 4 on Wii. Like, likie a lot.
The reviewers noted that while the content is almost the same as the GameCube original, the direct Wiimote-based controls offer a plus, making the game feel like something fresh and different. One reviewer said that the game offers the feeling of being closer to the action as well as upping the tension… [and] that the new controls are simple and easy to get into… even those who played the original will be able to enjoy themselves.
All in all, the acclaimed Japanese publication gave the 3 year-old remake near-perfect scores. Better yet, the game only costs a mere $30 bucks. Whatcha buyin’?

I have mine pre-ordered through Amazon. I loved the original and want this for my Wii. (I am lazy, don’t want to pull out the GamCube controllers and plug them into my Wii.)

I would have bought it through Buy.com although, they don’t ship to Japan. Either way, I am getting it. Guaranteed. It is well worth it.

Nintendo Power said it will raise the graphic level of the assets and everything in the Ada Wong missions to match the rest of the Gamecube version as well.
The Famitsu reviews added onto the fact that I havent beaten the game yet have me getting this immediatly.
Plus this gives me time to play through Resident Evil 2 the rest of the way.
