Developer finds developing a challenge on PS3, Xbox 360

In an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine, Rockstar’s Creative VP, Dan Houser:
“To be honest with you we haven’t solved all those riddles yet.” The difficulties aren’t limited to working on Microsoft’s box, as Houser explains that “both have enormous challenges” and that “both have their own particular pleasures and pains”.
And so concludes our latest (and only) installment of Things you will never hear said about a Nintendo system.

“Things you will never hear said about a Nintendo system.”
I know you make no secret about being a homer Nintendo site, but even still, you can’t honestly believe this as 100% fact.

Actually, I think thats true, any developer moaning about how hard it is to develop for the Wii should get a firm kick in their ass since it is basically “two gamecubes ductaped together”, that quote is a bit harsh but its also the biggest strength developers should have when developing for the Wii, familiar hardware and all…

its already been said by a few other big name developers that the ps3 and 360 are hard to develop for, especially when going cross platform, but even without, having to deal with multicore/multi-cell is a mess to figure out. it does get easier with experience, but even then it means alot more coding work. though it doesnt surprise me that no comment was made about nintendos system, and if so, why wasnt it quoted?
not that i expect much from them. while they do have manhunt coming to wii, its also only coming to ps2, not the other current gen systems, so basically it gives us game franchise that barely even sold, and is looking to give them the big gun, as usual. shows no respect for nintendo.

If only nintendo systems weren’t the joke of the industry and had good challenging hardware maybe than they’d get some good developers for a change.
Nintendo consoles will almost always be no known as mario and zelda players. Third party quality on nintendo systems is just too rare.
