De Blob improves its chances with better style
Friday, January 11th, 2008 at 12:24pm by BlakeIGN muses: “Our latest play session shows a drastic improvement in [sound], as the its musical score works in turn with the game’s color progression. When the level begins, the world is monotone and the music is slow and thin. The more color you add though, the more the music builds in a similar fashion to SSX Blur. The result is a much stronger overall attitude for de Blob, as it now sounds as fun as it plays and looks.”
Not only has the music improved, but the game looks much more polished than it did at E3 last year. I’m getting this platformer when it launches in February, as it’s one of the most imaginative games coming out for Wii, and a lot of fun to boot.

Man, this game just keeps getting better and better! When’s it coming out?

It is looking better but still looks like a solid rent for me.

Jumping into things to change their colour sounds kind of boring but since everyone has been so positive about the game I’m guessing there’s more to it

@ Kansas: This game comes from a small downloadable game for the computer, and i remember when the released it everyone was talking about it, so i guess there is more to it than you think

Man just when i think i wont be buying more games… this game looks so polished and sounds great… like what the Wii really needs from 3rd parties (we know the fun factor is there so that why i didnt mentioned it before).
Im asking you people, for the sake of the Wii, and 3rd parties to keep trying harder, please, PLEASE buy this game!
As it is one of the most original and bold games so far (ala elebits, but not so much for kids, rather for everyone).

If you guys wanna check out the original game, they have it for download. Maybe it’ll give you a better impression of how different the game is!

I have a feeling this is going to be Elebits; nice mechanic, poor gameplay.
