Bomberman game explodes onto WiiWare

WiiWare isn’t even out of the oven officially yet and its already got a proper Bomberman game scheduled for release. And this is not mini-game Bomberman, no, but honest to goodness 8-player simultaneous bomb on bomb action.

Well, if it’s 8-player it HAS to be online, right? I don’t think you can do local 8-player on the Wii.

4 gc controllers + 4 wiimotes = 8 players; that’d be cool but probably not going to happen. Anyway, the link is to the mario kart thing, fix it please.

guys, the vc version already supports 5. and bust-a-move already did 8. there’s plenty of precedence!

vc-reviews.com is reporting that it supports online multiplayer, and also that it isn’t specifically announced for WiiWare, just Wii. But it’s assumed to be for WiiWare and releasing in June.

Yes @ Hoodie, and this is isn’t exactly news anyway. I have heard about Bomberman Wii since the announcement of the WiiWare system back in October ‘07.

You could easily use gc controllers, or share the remote and nunchuck between 2 people to have 8 players.
