Nintendo released the launch trailer for Wii Sports Club. The trailer shows off happy people enjoying virtual bowling and tennis. Each of the five sports is an individual download from eShop on Wii U. Bowling and tennis are available now and baseball, boxing and golf will arrive at a later date. Each game features online gameplay and new training modes. Interestingly, you have two ways to play:  a 24-hour pass to play all sports for $1.99 or unlimited access for one sport to the tune of $9.99.  Which will you choose?

I’d choose Unlimited bowling, since that’s the one game I played a lot (and kinda still do) on the original Wii Sports.

What I want to know is whether or not Wii Sports Club is exclusively online play only or is it Wii Sports w/ HD visuals and the use of WiiU-made Miis and online play is optional.

  2. MikeIsaPoet says:

Of course it’s not only online play. There’s offline as well.

  3. Ben says:

Thanks for letting me know. I know I will be getting it. When will it be available anyway?

  4. MikeIsaPoet says:

It was available Thursday. Only Bowling and Tennis are out now. Golf and Baseball will be out later, Boxing will likely be the last game as Nintendo has said they’re trying to figure out the best way to deal with the online part of that game.

  5. Beer here says:

    every thing but boxing
