I fall into the category of, I download once. Only once and should be able to index my games in a specific channel. (Something more like a folder on a computer where then you will have NES, SNES, Genesis, etc games inside that one channel.) It may be something that Nintendo should look into. Open the NES channel you will get your NES games that you have downloaded, etc... Just make it simple. I am sick of shuffling around from the Wii to the SD Card just to try and make space to download a new game. No more downloadable games for me until the storage solution is out!

A new twist on Space Invaders seem fun - has that game ever been retooled?

I don't really buy Wiiware or VC games anymore because I don't want to deal with the shuffling around and redownloading. It's a shame that Nintendo has caused people like me to wait before forking over their money. I'm sure they would like to have it now instead of me waiting until they get this update out.

Poll: Which category do you fall into?

(1) The "pretending I have a hard drive" approach, where you keep a backup copy of each downloaded game either for instant gratification or because you're afraid it won't be available from Nintendo's servers later.

(2) The "time to clean the fridge again" approach, where you play through downloadable games and then delete them from your sysem, knowing that you can re-download any previously played game from the Shopping Channel if the urge hits.

I fall into category (2). Both approaches have positives and negatives, I'm not trying to suggest that one is better than the other... but I am curious to know how people are using their systems.

To be fair, the Anthology has control issues... As in, you can't even use the classic controller. Don't ask me who made that decision, but unfortunately it keeps the collection from being the definitive way to play Metal Slug.

Also, I don't think the Wii is compatible with SD cards over 2GB...

I'll probably pick up Space Invaders Get Even, eventhough the full game is about 700 blocks

Isn't the point of the virtual console to release games that you can't play otherwise on the Wii? I love Metal Slug more than I love brownies but what is the point? The Anthology costs about $20 now and you get almost the whole Slug series... this is a silly release.

Space Invaders Get Even looks interesting at the Japanese site: http://www.taito.co.jp/csm/title/2008/si_geteven/ I will not be downloading it though since I have no space in the Wii or SD Card! Too many games, when is the update supposed to come? (The one where you can play directly from SD?) I also need another SD. (4GB?)
