While games like Uno, Settlers Of Catan, and Backgammon are showing up on Xbox Live Arcade, so far Wii is missing out on board games. Using the Wii Remote to point, click, or even grab a chess pawn seems like a natural match up. Developers could even get silly and have you use a card dealing motion while holding the Wii-mote.

Having released Clubhouse Games, Nintendo knows that traditional-styled online gaming can be a success. The Mario Party games have always used a board game theme.
