A lot of people seem disappointed that the Wii doesn’t have any online playable games. This will of course change in June with the release of Pokemon Battle Revolution, but what other games will feature Wi-Fi Connection online play?
These titles have been confirmed to have online play:
Battalion Wars 2
Forever Blue
Guitar Hero III
Mario Strikers Charged
Pokemon Battle Revolution
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The following titles are not confirmed, but various interviews indicate that online play is being considered:
Animal Crossing
The Bigs
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
MySims
No More Heroes
It’s not a very large list and a lot of these games don’t have a firm release date, but it sure sounds like a fun list so far. Cross-platform titles like The Bigs and the upcoming Madden 08 will definitely have online play for other systems, but whether or not Wii will get to play along is another question.
