What’s the biggest blip on your radar?

I gotta go Zelda: Skyward Sword, if only because it’s Zelda, it’s being overseen by Miyamoto, and it’s director by the same guy that did Minish Cap, the most underrated Zelda of all time. Either that or another upcoming Zelda: Ocarina 3D.

What about you? What’s the biggest blip on your gaming radar?

Solatorobo. Looks amazing. Already out in Japan – and besides, it’s the spiritual sequel to Tail Concerto, one of the most underrated games of all time. 🙂

  2. Jon says:

    Skyrim, Skyrim aaand Skyrim

  3. MrMiyamoto says:

Your mom! Followed closely by a tie between Portal 2, Skyrim, and the good 3DS games when they finally come out (Ocarina, Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Resident Evil: Revelations, Bomberman, Prof. Layton, Assassin’s Creed, and Splinter Cell).

  4. bananaoomarang says:

SKYWARD SWORD. Definately. Followed closely by ‘Mario bros: ledgend of the raccoon suit 3D’

And of course that new 3D hardware which they’re putting out. I already preordered that one.

  5. Kale says:

Mass Effect 3, followed by L.A. Noire and Portal 2. This might be the year I find myself “done” with Nintendo, which makes me cry.

  6. Timothy says:

The 3DS is the biggest blip on my radar but if you mean software then I guess Skyward Sword.

  7. Caleb says:

I definitely have to go with Skyward Sword on this one. I’m a sucker for a new Zelda game. Heck, I’m a sucker for an old Zelda game, too! Ocarina 3D is definitely on my radar as well, but I have my N64 cartridge to fall back on, so it’s not as big as Skyward Sword for me.

Other than that, Portal 2 is the only other game I can think of.

  8. Sal your Pal says:

    Conduit 2. First game I ever pre-ordered
Can’t wait till it comes in 🙂

I never supported pre-orders in the past so it shows how much I can’t wait for this title

  9. willshyre says:

Ocarina 3D. It wasn’t on my radar at all, but now that they’re starting to announce it including extras- such as Master Quest included and a few other goodies hinted at- I’m much more interested.
Also Guild Wars 2, I love the first one.

  10. exposicion says:

I’d have to go with Bust-a-Move: Universe. I’ve been playing Bust-a-Move ’99 with my buddies and I can’t wait to see how the 3DS changes anything

  11. deepthought says:

lots of things are on the radar. number 1 is rock band 3 with the new squier guitar. it’s expensive though…

also batman, dragon age 2, and i’m excited to see star fox 3D. when i fix my pc, BF3 and the new IL2. probably need a new pc for BF3 though, so I may wait till next year on it.

  12. Mohan says:

So far Zelda Skyward Sword, unless if Last Story and XenoBlade comes out here.

  13. Greg in PA says:

infamous 2 because its the closest of 2011s heavy hitters which means it registers the most activity on the old radar but the trailer for arkham city makes me salivate to return to rocksteadys fantastic take on the dark knights world

  14. CrusherX says:

Skyward Sword, (OoT, starfox, and rayman)3DS , Conduit 2, and would like to also see Tales of Graces and XenoBlade, played them for a while and they are both are great games, just can’t read all that text but the voices I can understand quite a bit.
The Zelda games are the biggest for me!

  15. Matthew Case says:

I would have to say 3DS 🙂 Can’t wait, March 27th can’t get here soon enough.

  16. Matthew Case says:

In addition to this, Zelda Skyward Sword of course.

  17. ZZ says:

    Super Mario 3DS>Zelda: Skyward Sword>The Last Guardian>Uncharted 3>Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D>Infamous 2.

Well, nearest to the middle of the screen is Okamiden. My preordered copy has shipped, but I don’t have it yet.

As far as games whose release dates are in the future go, I guess Skyward Sword, Ocarina 3D, Portal 2, and that new 3D Mario that looks like it’s mercifully Galaxy-free. Maybe we’ll get some actual dense, fleshed-out, not-entirely-linear levels like Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine had.

  19. Noveli says:

I’ve got to say Conduit 2 for sure, but Skyward Sword is on there to, just a little farther out.

  20. Blaise says:

Any Zelda title tops my list over everything else. Skyward Sword is slightly ranked above OoT 3D.

  21. Janush says:

    mario kart 3ds

  22. CM30 says:

Super Mario 3DS, although Ocarina of Time 3D, Paper Mario 3D and Mario Kart 3DS are close behind as far as hype goes.

  23. Any new Kirby game, for my son. I guess there’s one coming maaaybe by the end of the year, for Wii?

And for me, probably Sword & Sworcery EP for iPad. And then the 3DS.

  24. InvisibleMan says:

    Portal 2, of course!

Why? Is there anything else worth checking out??

  25. Tony says:

    3ds and animal crossing 3d

  26. electricfuture says:

gotta say, I can’t wait for Brink! it looks like its doing some really interesting stuff, with an otherwise bland genre.

  27. Jackson says:

Am I the only one really excited about Steel Diver? The game looks awesome, and I’m really excited for the new gameplay it will bring to the table. Sure, Pilotwings & Kid Icarus look interesting, but the genres are nothing new. This is a region Nintendo has rarely touched the water with, and even Reggie was talking about how fun it is, and how it should be on everyone’s radar. Consider me hooked on the hype!

  28. Sam says:

    uncharted 3
    skyward sword
    mortal kombat

  29. Mattiac says:

    Kid Icarus for 3DS!
