What are you playing?
Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 at 2:01pm by Jake
Besides the daily dose of Brawling, what are you currently gaming? Maybe a little Mario Kart DS to prepare for the upcoming Wii version, or maybe mixing it up with a little WarioWare: Smooth Moves…it’s all good! I’m currently replaying through the Zelda games (split timeline order) with various shots of Tetris DS, and Super Mario World in between. Don’t forget the VC is always full of great (and not so great) classics for download. Just don’t spend all your points (Wiiware next month!).
So Infendo readers…What are you playing?

Hotel Dusk and Advanced Wars Dark Conflict on zee DS
And when i get the time im gonna buy No More Heroes (Finally!!!)
April 8th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Let’s see, I beat No More Heroes once and had started playing through it a second time. I haven’t been able to afford Brawl (stupid IRS), but I’ve got enough other games to keep me busy. I felt the urge to replay Beyond Good and Evil for Game Cube, and I just finished beating that in its entirety this past weekend. Also this weekend, I decided to use a Wii points card I got for my birthday in January to buy Super Metroid. I never had a SNES growing up, so this iteration of Metroid is new and wonderful to me. I also dabble in Ouendan 2 and Trauma Center on the DS from time to time. I wish my PS2 was plugged in because I have a hankering for MGS3 right now.
April 8th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
I busted out Galaxy the other day for the first time, and that game rocks. Here are some other’s I’ve been playing.
Zack & Wiki
Soldier Blade
Super Mario Bros. 3 (buy it on VC if you don’t already have it)
Tecmo Super Bowl
April 8th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
I’m currently playing through No More Heroes on Wii.
I’ve also been playing a LOT of online multiplayer games lately. My little brother and I have been playing Batallion Wars II quite a bit online, and I’ve been rocking Mario Kart DS online with my sister and friends.
April 8th, 2008 at 2:43 pm
Mostly Brawl still.
But I’ve been passing time with A Link to the Past on Sunday nights (I just get the urge to play it then for some reason..) and I’m still slowly making my way through Professor Layton.
That said, I haven’t played God Hand in about 6 weeks and I have an itch to play it again. I have a love affair with that game, though.
April 8th, 2008 at 2:43 pm
Brawl and Final Fantasy XII are taking up most of my time, but I still have Contra 4 in the DS for bathroom play, and I’ll put in Persona 3 for a little grinding ever now and then. I’ll also try to pick up another star in Galaxy once in a while, but mostly it’s just Brawl and FFXII.
April 8th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
I hadn’t taken Brawl out of my Wii since March 9 until last night. I popped Mario Kart DD in for a quick round but didn’t actually get a chance to play a full race.
Otherwise it’s Mario Kart DS and Brain Age on the DS. I need to finish Galaxy yet.
April 8th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
SMB3 (Advance version), Wii Sports
April 8th, 2008 at 3:03 pm
Mass Effect and FFVII (never finished it >_>.)
April 8th, 2008 at 3:08 pm
Since my Wii got stoled, I’ve had to just play Gamecube games. Right now I’m playing:
Viewtiful Joe
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem
Shadow the Hedgehog
Also, Professor Layton on DS. It’s great.
April 8th, 2008 at 3:12 pm

April 8th, 2008 at 3:43 pm
I’m currently playing through Titan Quest on the PC, with a little Puzzle Quest for DS on the side. Been playing some Zack and Wiki in the off hours. I’ll be jamming some Mario Kart DD in preparation for MK:Wii here in a bit.
April 8th, 2008 at 3:46 pm
Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Edition
It’s so good
April 8th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
I’m playing Brawl and Metroid Prime 2 Echoes oddly enough. There’s not a lot of new games that are compelling me to play to right now. I just recently finished Apollo Justice however.
April 8th, 2008 at 4:01 pm
Sonic Rush Adventure
Ouendan 2
A little Animal Crossing
Not a lot. I mostly read or draw if I’m not Brawling.
April 8th, 2008 at 4:05 pm
I stopped all gaming aside from brawl the moment it arrived. I’ve clocked up a power on time of about 75 hours in the past 8 days on brawl…
That game owns my soul…
After I finish on brawl I’ll be going back to finish Crisis Core: FF7 and Metroid Prime 3.
April 8th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
I am playing:
Endless Ocean
Super Mario Galaxy
Picross DS
and of course…Brawl
April 8th, 2008 at 4:26 pm
PES 2008 Wii
Bliss! You should buy it. Brilliant use of Wii controls. Excellent football and silky smooth online.
April 8th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
I finished Ninja Gaiden DS Sunday. I’m continuing my adventures in Gundam 00 DS and Dungeon Explorer(DS). On the Wii, I’m splitting my time between Octomania, Williams Pinball Connection and House of the Dead 2/3 Return.
Tomorrow, I’ll start Baroque, when it arrives. April is an intense month for Wii, IMHO. Okami, Heavenly Guardian, Shikigami no Shiro III and Baroque all in one month.
April 8th, 2008 at 4:46 pm
Working through Megaman ZX on my DS as well as Dementium and Phoenix Wright 3.
Crysis Core on my PSP.
One Piece on my Wii.
Playing Dead or Alive 4 with friends still on my 360.
And C&C 3 Kain’s Wrath as well as Warhammer Soulstorm on my PC.
Plus i’m waiting eagerly for Persona 3 FES and have stopped playing my save on my PS2 until it comes out.
April 8th, 2008 at 4:53 pm
All I’ve been able to play recently is my DS, and in that I have Trace Memory and the Golden Sun sequel, which I finally got transfer data to. =P
April 8th, 2008 at 5:00 pm

April 8th, 2008 at 5:17 pm
Most of my gaming is done on my PC. Right now I’m revisiting Dungeon Siege (the original). I always like to play it solo (just my main character, and no others).
My son is keeping our Wii busy with the VC Zelda: Ocarina of time, and also the GC version of Gauntlet, and occasionally some Wii Sports.
April 8th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
I am actually anything but Smash Bros Brawl; got real bored with the game.
Anyway, the list:
King of Fighters ‘94 (VC)
Beyond Oasis (VC, and sadly regretting getting the game)
Pangya (PC)
And I’ll be going back to City of Heroes once the semester ends.
April 8th, 2008 at 5:27 pm
I am playing Brawl quite regularly. However, as the online mode is not working decently, I went back to Mario Strikers Charged — which I haven’t touched for months — and I enjoying it much more this time.
April 8th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
STILL playing Etrian Odyssey on the DS! Interjecting with some Days of Ruin now and then;
Super Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii, of course;
COD 4 and Rock Band on the Xbox 360;
trying to finish Shadow of the Colossus and start Persona 3 on the PS2;
going back to Yggdra Union and Summon Night 2 on the micro!
April 8th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
I actually JUST got back from Costco with Phantom Hourglass in hand. Going to give it a try.
April 8th, 2008 at 6:20 pm
I finally lost my Brawl virginity last week on my birthday, when some friends brought it over. But currently I haven’t had a lot of time to play. The wife has been playing Rayman 1, though.
April 8th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
lately, I’ve been playing more Gmod.
other than that, i haven’t played much. just doing other things like making music or something. it really bugging me though.
April 8th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
Brawl, Picross DS, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, SMB2 Lost Levels, MarioKart 64, Rock Band on PS2 when friends are over and finally, the original God of War on PS2. A friend of mine questioned me on why in the blue hell have I never finished it. So I took up his challenge. I am apparently still a long way from finishing the sucker.
Though cripes, that’s a lot of games at once, now that I list them all out like that.
April 8th, 2008 at 7:14 pm
I’m still really only playing Brawl.
Not since launch, i got it about a week ago, but haven’t been able to put it down.
April 8th, 2008 at 7:37 pm
Outside of Thursday infendo nights Brawl has been retired as the locals are afraid of running it into the ground after weeks of non-stop play. Been doing the party game thing a lot getting some value out of Smarty Pants there. On the solo front I am hitting the Endless Ocean when I need to chill and trying to get through RE4 Wii edition so that I can get to the Aida content I never got to before. Hearing about people on here who have BWii and Strikers I would love to get some online rotation going for those games. Let me know and we can exchange the FCs
As for the DS I am still trying to beat Phantom Hourglass and looking longingly at a lot of titles like NG Dragon Sword and Prof. Layton.
April 8th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
Brawl, of course
Endless Ocean and Sega Bass Fishing with my fish-mad 4-year-old
Zack and Wiki
Wii Sports (because I loves me some tennis)
I finished No More Heroes and lent it to Bdizzle.
April 8th, 2008 at 8:26 pm
Playing some NBA Live ‘08, almost done with Metroid Prime Hunters, and a dash of Ninja Reflex.
April 8th, 2008 at 9:31 pm
Currently, I have been playing Mario Kart: DD with my wife. We are waiting patiently on Mario Kart Wii. We have been trying to also get in the following games:
Endless Ocean, Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy, Big Brain Academy Wii Degree, Splinter Cell (Gamecube versions of all of them), Mercury Meltdown Revolution (just purchased cheap), and going back to VC games just for the fun of it. Too many games in too little time. I don’t have as much time as I used to have. I guess I am a casual gamer with many games left to play over and over again!
April 8th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
As expected, I’m playing lots of Brawl. I’ve also been playing Pokemon Diamond and Ocarina of Time on VC, and I’ll ocasionally pull out Meteos for DS.
April 8th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
Pikmin - Just finished the first one for the first time today… I had finished the second one before. I think I liked No. 2 better. Can NOT wait for a Wii version! I think I’ll play the second one through again…
Brawl - But of course. Now that a reliable complete list of trophies can be easily located, I’ll have to go finish those up. I also now know that the Boss trophies for Very Hard and Intense can be won with two people… so I need to find a friend who’s as awesome as I am at Brawl to kick Tabuu’s ass… and I have about 9 songs left to get, which is difficult to improve upon when the computer players I go up against gobble up the damn CDs every time they appear…
Phantom Hourglass - I’m semi-addicted to the online Battle mode. If anyone wants to play over Wi-Fi, lemme know! It’s pretty addicting, but I’m SICK of people disconnecting. There’s no reason they shouldn’t have made a penalty for that…
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin - Not as good as Dual Strike in my opinion, but the online is what’s keeping me going.
Wario’s Woods - Gotta practice for when I get back up to school! My friends and I like to play this game. We got hooked on the Animal Crossing version, so I bought it on the VC!
Link to the Past - Oh, man… my favorite and first Zelda game… VC version, of course.
Oh… and I lost the game.
April 8th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
I’m ashamed to say that I’m just finishing up Twilight Princess. I think I expected the game to be shorter, so I took it slow and spent extra time exploring every little nook and cranny, trying to savor the experience. Then when I found out how HUGE this game was, I was starting to get tired of it, and I put it down for about 6 months. Going to finish it up tonight methinks.
April 8th, 2008 at 11:40 pm
Crisis Core, Metal Gear Solid, SSBM, SSBB, Animal Crossing, and probably FF VII pretty soon. I may just do a back-to-back replay through CC, VII, and then watch AC. Maybe some Dirge of Cerberus, if I get it.
April 9th, 2008 at 12:13 am
Pokemon Diamond, Smash Bros. Brawl, Ninja Gaiden DS
April 9th, 2008 at 1:12 am
I haven’t been playing a whole lot of videogames lately due to a huge term paper due in a couple of weeks, but I have been playing a little:
Fire Emblem (GBA): This is my third playthrough, and it still manages to be amazing. Kudos once again to Nintendo for localizing such an incredible game.
Earthbound (SNES): I am playing through this for the second time, and it truly is everything the Earthbound worshippers hype it up to be. This game is phenomenal in every aspect. When it comes out on the Virtual Console, everybody needs to buy it to experience the amazingness.
Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii): I haven’t actually played a whole lot of Brawl since I unlocked everybody; there just isn’t a whole lot of motivation to play and get all the rest of the unlockables. I am mostly waiting for the competitive scene to develop a bit before I choose a main and start going to tournaments and stuff.
Meteos (DS): For some reason I had a strange itching to play this again, and I am mildly addicted for the third time since I’ve had it. This game is no Tetris or Bust a Move, but it’s easily the third best puzzle game of all time. It seriously is freakin’ awesome.
April 9th, 2008 at 3:08 am
im playing Brawl,cod2(360),cod4(360),prime 3,luigie galaxy, and this weekend ill be starting a new windwaker save file (im so excited about this one!my fave zelda game)

Kirby 64 ( VC )
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core ( PSP )
Resident Evil 4 ( Wii )
April 9th, 2008 at 4:16 am
I can’t be bothered with Brawl. I can’t get a game online - it just sits there with nobody else to play with - and I don’t see the point of playing the CPU.
I’ve been spending most of my time with Insecticide, which is 50/50 - the adventure portions are great, the action portions are woeful.
Looking forward to giving Mario Kart a spin on the weekend.
April 9th, 2008 at 7:28 am
Wii:
Brawl (obviously)
Bully (pretty cool)
Prince of Persia 3 (very nice mix of platforming and action)
But I’m getting a PS3 very soon, so I’ll be playing
Uncharted
Motorstorm
Call of Duty 4
April 9th, 2008 at 8:31 am
Red Mozzie, have you tried connecting with the infendo community on Thursday’s with your brawls? That works beautify.
April 9th, 2008 at 9:20 am

April 9th, 2008 at 9:55 am

Agatha Christie And Then There Were None
Bully

April 9th, 2008 at 10:39 am
Finally got Bioshock to work on my PC. So, I’m finally enjoying that after everyone else already has. Good game. Unsettling, deep, and graphically GORGEOUS!
April 9th, 2008 at 11:36 am
@Ryan,
Hey, tell me, are you enjoying Baroque? I was eyeballing that game from it’s announcement, but it’s getting some very “mixed” reviews. I’d love to here what another infendoite thinks about it!
April 9th, 2008 at 1:12 pm
On the Wii I’m playing Cooking Mama, Kororinpa and Resident Evil 2.
Super Metroid, Wrecking Crew and Galala 90 on the Virtual Console.
Guitar Hero II on PS2.
On the DS I’m playing Contact, Pricross and Age of Empires.
April 9th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
Um…
A Link to the Past.
…on my snes.
April 9th, 2008 at 3:20 pm
Okami. And only Okami. I can’t believe I let this game sit on the shelf for two months after I bought it (ok, Galaxy and Brawl are why, but still). It is a breathtakingly beautiful game and a joy to play. Removing the curses evokes real-world happy emotions. Even fetch quest-style tasks are immensely rewarding because it is so much fun to just run and jump around. A STUNNING experience, the kind of game I can’t wait to come home from work to play. I really hope they get the Wii controls right because Okami deserves to be a success.
April 9th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
Brawl, No More Heroes, Jewel Quest Expeditions (DS), Professor Layton, Yoshi’s Cookie (VC).
Up next is Endless Ocean. The ads for Bully: Scholarship Edition make me want to break out my PS2 again to finish Bully.
April 9th, 2008 at 6:09 pm
Layton (I wish, beat it, can’t wait for the second)
MLB Power Pros
FFIII (DS)
April 10th, 2008 at 4:21 am
@HunterGrant: Alas, time zone issues mean I’m at work on Friday morning while you’re all brawling on Thursday nights.
April 13th, 2008 at 4:05 pm
I’m currently playing the small selection of
Brawl
Tetris DS
