Virtual Console Monday - Kirby’s Avalanche, Streets Of Rage 3, and Legend Of Hero Tonma

Monday, September 24th, 2007 at 11:02am by David

kirbysavalancheboxart.jpgNew stuff for Virtual Console today:

Kirby’s Avalanche - SNES
Everyone’s favorite round, pink hero takes a break from swallowing his enemies to put your brain to work in this fast-paced puzzle game. Are you good enough to help Kirby become the avalanche king?

Streets of Rage 3 - Genesis
Just when you thought the world was safe from the Syndicate and its shady leader, Mr. X, they have returned to torment the city once again.

LEGEND OF HERO TONMA - TG16
LEGEND OF HERO TONMA is an action game that puts players in control of the magic-user Tonma, whose role – as was typical for game heroes of the day – is to travel to another world and save the princess.

I’d prefer to see Kirby Super Star over Avalanche, but take whatever Kirby you can get, I guess.  Buying anything this week?

I’ve had 2500 points sitting on my Wii for about 3 weeks now, with nothing to spend it on.

Come on, Nintendo. Give me something GOOD.

And now, a list of games I’d rather have than these three, by DrewMG:

    Shining Force II (GEN)
    Cobra Triangle (NES)
    Bionic Commando (NES)
    Double Dragon (GEN)
    Out of This World (SNES)
    Flashback (SNES)
    Mortal Kombat II (SNES)
    Faxanadu (NES)
    Ninja Gaiden II (NES)
    Double Dribble (NES)
    Rygar (NES)
    Megaman 1-6 (NES)
    Castlevania II (NES)
    Castlevania III (NES)
    Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
    TMNT IV (SNES)
    Castlevania Bloodlines (GEN)

    Just sayin’.

Streets of Rage 3 sounds VERY tempting. :|

Need something good?? I’m getting SoR3, not today (no money in bank) but I will be within the week. I thought SoR3 was one of the best games on Gen. (SoR2 was awesome too)

The SoR games were decent I guess, but as a gamer who primarily plays solo, side scrolling brawlers tend to wear out their welcome quickly.
