Mega Man 9 (and 2) arriving in September

Infendo pet project Mega Man 9 is scheduled to arrive in the US in September, the Capcom Unity blog confirmed today.
Mega Man 2 will also arrive that month, courtesy of the Virtual Console service.
Mega Man, as you know from reading Infendo, arrives tomorrow.
Looks like I’ll be spending at least $20 over the next two months.

Megaman will not be on my “buy” list, unfortunately. I’d rather blow 20 bucks for Anniversary Collection. Just like I dont buy NEO GEO games, I get SNK Arcade Classics and the other compilation titles. Waaaay more games for waaaaay less money.

I watched the videos for Lostwinds and it really didn’t seem like my style. I love how it looks, but I don’t think i’d get enough play out of it. My comment was more about the Megaman games coming to VC, there have not been many VC games i’ve been interested in for the last few months. Considering I have cartridges of the old games, I might not get Megaman either, but at least it’s somthign i’m INTERESTED in.

I guess i just don’t understand all the excitement about the old mega man games. I played those to death already, then played inferior versions of them in 3, 4, 5, 6 etc. But hey, everyone’s taste is different.
