Due to the launch of WiiWare today, nothing will be released for Virtual Console this week. If I’m not mistaken, this is the first week where absolutely nothing came out for the VC since the Wii launched nearly 19 months ago. So, to make up for it, which game do you think Nintendo should release on the Wii Shop Channel next week?

Earthbound. What else would I say?
TOO EASY of a question to answer! Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars should be released because to me, it had a great storyline, good graphics, quality & sound. Plus it’s the 1ST EVER! Mario RPG game done by SQUARE & Nintendo since Mario appeared for the 1st time in Donkey Kong back in the arcades. Truly, 5 ? game in my book! If not that game, then how about Super Smash Bros. or Donkey Kong 64 ? I mean, come on now, we all waited long and patiently enough for these games.
wii luigi, DK 64 is owned by rare
Earthbound
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
MegaMan 2
Mutant League Football
Mutant League Hockey
@Mr erection
The entire Donkey Kong Country series was also written by Rare and published by Nintendo. We’re not seeing DK64 because it sucked.
Everyone here seems to forget that DK is Nintendo’s characters. Despite the fact it was made it was made by RARE.
Yeah geez… rare does not own Donkey Kong. Nintendo invented that series. Rare has no right to make DK games anymore. I don’t know that DK64 sucked. It was a fun game for its time. I don’t think I would play it again. It actually was one of the better 3D adventure/platformer on the 64. Banjo Tooie was probably better. We may not see any Banjo games though.
Nintendo can release dk 64 if they dang well please.
Anything from Rare!
But Zombies Ate My Neighboors would be nice too.
Rock’n'Roll Racing.
Alex Kidd.
Psycho Fox.
I want:
DuckTales
Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Both great Capcom games based on the Megaman engine. Loved those as a kid and would love to play them again.
StarFox and/or Super Mario Kart.
Super Smash Bros.
Classic.
Super Mario Allstars and Yoshi’s Island.
…and Tetris Attack.
@ GradiusFan: But when you bring the Banjo-Kazooie series into play, I prefer Banjo-Kazooie over Donkey Kong 64 any day. Too bad they’re owned by Microsoft.
StarFox/Mario Kart SNES or Pilotwings N64
