they always mess up game plots when they transition to tv or movies. remember the live action super mario bros movie. ugh! although i did enjoy the zelda cartoon on fridays of the super mario bros show. i couldn’t resist and bought the box set for the nostalgia

Clearly there’s a huge diversion from the actual plot here, as Luigi appears to be competent in this version of the story.

Dinosaur World (should be Yoshi’s Island)
Koopa Football players (should be Chargin’ Chucks)
questioning Magnum Bill - I think that should be Big Bill?
Fire Sumo (should be Sumo Brother)
Magic Balloon (should be P Balloon or Power Balloon)
Green Yoshi should have been in a Green Egg
Yoshi should have disappeared in water
Can’t stomp on enemies in water normally
Wiggler should have been yellow-orange to begin, not red
Coney Island Disco Palace??? WTH?
Light switch should have been a ON Block instead of a ? Block
Yoshi doesn’t go into castles
Koopa Robots (Mecha-Bowser)
Yoshi should start out as adult
Yoshi should have originally been found on Yoshi Island
