If you want nine minutes of Super Mario World terror, frustration and controller-breaking challenge, watch this video. And what’s with getting only 21 stars at the end? Honestly.

Yeah, right. I got frustrated just watching the dumb thing. I think my computer / console would be out the window in a matter of minutes if I were to try and play that abomination of a game.

The thing he does on the spiny shells at about 3:50. I would never have thought of that in a million years. Hat goes off to them for just that!
But yeah, like joshdad, playing that I would have thrown my console at the concrete floor outside before I ever managed to get very far into it.

    The Mario level from hell.

If the original SMW was like that, it’d be the most hated game of all time.

Oh god, and people design/play this thing for FUN!?

I’d hate to see what a chore would be like for these folks

P.S.: Am I the only one who remembers that other Mario levels from hell video?, it was the NES SMB, and you could hear the dude’s voiceover as he cursed the everlovin’ snot outta that game…

I’ll try to look up the link

I’m guessing that the actual play time it took to beat this level is bordering on about 20 hours. And that you would have used up ALL of your 99 lives had they been finite.

I’ve beaten that game about 3 times and I never knew you could twirl jump on those spikey guys.
