Funny, sure, but it needs to be faster… And we don’t need to see what a cheapstake Wired Magazine is in not giving their employees at least a four-walled cubicle!
It seems to me that he isn’t trying to be like Zero Punctuation, he’s simply trying to do his own thing and be funny. He didn’t copy Yahtzee’s trademark fast-pace or animation style and he’s not even reviewing video games. Comparing this to Zero Punctuation is doing a huge disservice to him, seeing as how just mentioning “Zero Punctuation” holds him to a higher standard than if you just presented it without the preconceived notion of what Yahtzee’s reviews are like. I admit that it’s not as funny as Zero Punctuation, but if you would just watch it without trying to compare it to Zero Punctuation you should be able to enjoy it on its own merit.
I laugh at all of you for saying he’s ripping off Zero Punctuation. Though I’m loathe to use this term…ever…but what a bunch of noobs!
Lore has been doing this a LOT longer than ZP…literally years ago for Brunching Shuttlecocks. I remember reading BS when I was in high school some 10 years ago! http://www.brunching.com/
Oh well… I don’t care that much if this guy _is_ ripping of 0. or not, point is, he’s doing a pretty meh job at it. Ok, so it is kinda funny. It’s also quite forced, whereas the narration at 0. seems to be flowing right out of Yahtzee’s mind in real time (even though I know he must spend a considerable amout of time writing and tweaking his reviews). Most importantly, however, I don’t know _why_ this Alt Text video was created. It’s not a review, it’s not even a particularly witty comment about the whole Legend of Zelda series. So what is it?
Bottom line: whether he is emulating 0. or not, he’s chosen a really bad time to be doing something like this. The standard is set very high.

It is ok… but Zero is much much funnier and very truthful. I personally think is is trying WAAAY to hard to copy Zero.
Good attempt… somewhat.

I found most of it to be funny, actually. Especially the Grappling Hook bit with the disclaimer. xD

What’s Zero Punctuation?

Roddy, Zero Punctuation is a series of videos commenting on games and fun stuff like that done by a man named Yahtzee.
Zero Punctuation is what this video (listed above) is trying to imitate, and does a poor job at it.
If you want to know more about ZP and see the videos, the link below will take you directly to that site.

Needs more of an edge…I felt like I was listening to a school teacher.

I think the similarities to ZP are superficial at best. It feels more like a set of narrated webcomics than anything.
The throwaway visual gags are stronger than the main content, though, which is troubling.
“Also llamas” kills me every time, though.
