Infendo Overview: Nintendo Channel

Monday, May 26th, 2008 at 2:43am by Jake

Why create a video walkthrough over a channel that launched weeks ago? The staff and I have been slightly amazed at just how many of our readers don’t connect their Wiis to the internet. For those few…you’re missing out on some great solid channels and features.

Be amazed at a slow (and slightly boring) video walkthrough. You’ll even get to see Jake’s extremely slow wireless connection in action!

    @ Jake.

Teach me how to do some of your 3D animation techniques.

while the intro was cool, 40 seconds on it is too long.

second, editing is your friend. why make us wait for load times. just edit it to 5-10 seconds, then a note on the other end saying 1min later or something.

^Because it’s a “complete walkthrough”. You get to see all the load times which in turn add to the viewrs personal review…

is a good idea otherwise. if my roommate didnt own the wii i would play more. this service has so many features. it will be very useful for nintendo, as well as consumers as people learn about and use it more.

I can add that in Sweden/europe the Nintendo channel have not been released yet, so thanks for this video.

Good first video and some editing would make it more professional. being a complete walk thur is a good idea also. The best thing about the Wii is being able to use you tube still along with google videos. You should to a complete experience including all of the cool things you can do.

1St you can hook a usb wireless keyboard up to it.
2 you can get on you tube and other video internet based sites
3 you can surf the internet faster than you old PC in most cases (no adware to worry about) you can even post in forums!
4 you can play your favorite games online
    5 It’s free
    6 it can except email!
7 it’s smaller than even your smallest form factor mini PC so it’s great for your media room and the wii mote makes a great mouse that you can past around the room.

The best thing about the Nintendo Channel is the DS download demos. But they seem to have recently recycled the demos from two weeks ago onto this weeks’ demos which is disappointing.

That looks like quite a helpful channel to have. Looking forward to playing about with this when it is released in Europe.

Good to see that I am not the only one that chases the “loading circles” around when waiting. :D

I would shoot myself if I had to wait for those load times, but then again, I (grudgingly) pay extra to have a faster connection.

Anyway, cool vid, though I would have edited out some of the wait times and the intro is a tad too long, though the idea is great.

    Keep it up!

Haha, I also chase the loading circles…
