Animators Anthony Veloso and Quentin Dron have created a clever video that highlights the history of Nintendo’s home consoles and handhelds. Not be confused with Brawl in the Family’s History of Nintendo tribute, the video starts off with the company’s popular Game & Watch handhelds from the early 1980s and ends with the recent release of the Wii U. Near the end, we are treated to the animators re-imagining the Nintendo logo in the form of the logos of Nintendo’s classic franchises. All in all, Veloso and Dron covered all the basics in Nintendo’s history, while flexing off their typography and quick animations skills.
Much to our disappointment though, the Virtual Boy didn’t make the cut in the video’s historic console/handheld rundown.
Enjoy!
