ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat was originally released in Japan on 2007, and was something I became very interested in acquiring. However, it looked pretty slim that it was going to be released over here. That is, until I looked up some ESRB ratings and saw this:

ESRB Rating

The game is produced by Mistwalker, which is a Japanese gaming company that was made by Hironobu Sakaguchi the creator of the Final Fantasy series. ASH looks very reminiscent to previous Final Fantasy games, the only thing difference is that the game is a tactical RPG. It’s great to see another well made RPG hit the DS, and I honestly can’t wait to play it.

I’m definitely getting this. I played a japanese version and didn’t understand anything. I’ve been waiting for this to hit the states forever, I’m gonna preorder this next time I’m bugged to preorder something.

I’m surprised this made it out. Wasn’t it announced back near the launch of the ds?

I was interested in it too, but I’ve heard too many times that the battle system is too slow.

Still, I’m glad it’ll be coming over here.

I’ve been waiting for this game for the last 3 years, after I saw it in Nintendo Power… I thought it was out of production….WOOT!
