Eidos announced today that Tomb Raider: Anniversary, a remake of the original game, will also be coming to Wii later this year in addition to the PC and PS2. The Wii version is said to feature “special” goodies and motion-controls to “ensure Anniversary really hits the spot,” says a company spokesman.

I wasted many nights playing this great game (the original) back in the day. Here’s hoping the remake is on par with the quality of GameCube’s Resident Evil remake.
