The game takes place on Ruri Island, a harbor of great power and wealth. Its ruler, the ambitious and power-crazed “Count Arganon,” is skillful in magic. Unlike the recent Final Fantasy games, Sakaguchi is staying away from Sci-Fi elements and focusing on fantasy.
