Find any good Holiday Weekend game deals?

If you brave the shopping craziness this weekend, keep your eyes peeled for Wii & DS game bargains. Dig through the shovelware shelves and you might find some worthwhile titles hidden among the M&M Racers and Chuck E. Cheese’s Party Games (Yes, it’s real). Today I stumbled across FF Crystal Bearers and Green Day Rock Band (exportable into RB3) for under ten bucks each at Target. Punch Out! and Sin and Punishment 2 were going for less than fifteen. It often pays to scan them yourself: Inaccurate (higher) price tags were common.

So how about you? Let us know if you’ve spotted any great deals for the Holiday Weekend.

Sign up for a Cellphone Contract get a Wii

Germany FlagSo apparently in Germany obtaining a Nintnendo Wii or a copy of Wii Fit is as easy as singing up for a 2 year cell phone contract. Now most of us would be very weary of deals like this, waiting for the catch as to why you would get a system for free. Well the deal here is that you would get a pre-owned refurbished old cellphone instead of getting brand new ones. So if you don’t mind getting a crummy old cell phone which is not technologically up to date with all those fancy bells and whistles, but want to enjoy some Wii gaming this might be the chance for you.

Special Thanks to my tipster in Germany, Frank.

Listen up, pinball fans (potential sleeper game)

Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection
I got a call on Tuesday from long-time friend and Infendo reader Casey (aka Cdub). The good news? Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection for Wii is apparently the best thing since sliced bread, particularly if you dig pinball, he says.

The game retails for $29.99, features nine pinball tables from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and is out now. The Wii version uses the trigger buttons on the Wii Remote and Nunchuck to activate the flippers while motion sensors are used to bump the table.

In addition to Casey’s endorsement (I have yet to play the game), the Associated Press says Pinball Hall of Fame “faithfully recreates the look, feel and physics” of pinball and “is well worth the bargain price.” Perhaps the obscure title is more than worth a look.

[Thanks, Casey]
