What do you find when you go snooping around the Brawl game disk? Unused content is what! A track list of over 25 unused music files are included on the disk for no apparent reason. Check over here to see the list and download the batch.
Thanks, Alucard

Weird… especially the DS ones, SF Command and M&L Partners in Time… they still sound kinda DS-quality-like. I think the Animal Crossing one is hillarious, though. And the sports medley one would have been cool for the Mario Bros. Level. I’m a sucker for the old sounding musics, though.
Also: Forgot to ask. Anyone know a good site to download the entire Smash Bros soundtrack? I’ve been looking for one, but I’m not that download-savvy, and I haven’t been able to find one that I’m real happy with. It’d be much appriciated.
Wait,
…Stunt Race….why….
NEW CHALLENGER!
Coupe.
And for the final smash its eyes could get big and spin around.
The NES Sports Medley is awesome.
Some of the other tracks, however, I can understand them not being on.
These are just collected tracks that match the song titles on the track listing in Brawl, he even provides his sources on this page: http://www.editorartist.com/game_soundtracks/Super%20Smash%20Bros%20Brawl%20-!-%20Lost%20Tracks/_track_details.htm
The songs are not actually on the Brawl disc.
ah, my mistake.
They are also some debug characters, like Toon Zelda and Dixy Kong. Toon Zelda was going to transform into Tetra, and Dixy Kong was going to follow Diddy, much like the Ice Climbers.

interesting…
maybe ill download some when i am not browsing on wii…
I am really disappointed with Ballad of the Windfish, I was expecting something with an orchestra.
At least they didn’t find some hot cofee content
Actually, no, they’re not all lost and gone. In case anyone didn’t know (I didn’t until about 2 days ago when my friend told me) you can change the music for different stages, including the menu. That track “Menu 2 (Melee)” is on the disc and can be used, I actually have it set as my menu. There a whole bunch of stages that have songs on them that are set to appear at 0%. I didn’t check each song on that list, but I’m guessing he didn’t realize what I just siad.
Holy hell! Why did they leave out so many tracks? The music in this game is quite simply amazing, so I have to wonder why they would leave any of it unused. Especially Geno’s Forest, the Ballad of the Windfish, and all of the Mother Music. Man, Geno’s Forest. Sooooooo good.
Oh. Right. Prolly should have read the other posts before I went gushing like I did. They may not be official tracks or anything, but they’re still good. And I still wish they’d produced these tracks.
You know, I have a little suspicion that maybe there’s more here than just abandoned projects (which in all honesty is probably what it is). Perhaps, these are future downloadable content. What better way to provide updates over time but not use up the sparse memory on the system then to have it already hidden on the disk (a la Hot Coffee). Then all they gotta do months from now is let you download a code that unlocks those hidden files and suddenly you’ve got even More content. That’s my private fantasy anyway, probably just abandoned projects. Just ran out of time, money, and space.
I would REALLY have loved to see a Wind Fish support trophy or something, where that music plays for it’s duration.
These songs aren’t in the game; the filenames are attached to blank files – these are the original versions or remixes of the songs not included.
