At first, I turned up my nose at the thought of a sequel to a wonderful game, but then I watched the trailer. The amount of platforming in the first kept me wanting more, and this looks like a fair amount of enhancements to the original formula that made SMG a great 3D platformer. Count me in.
Don’t stop me now by Queen Super Mario Galaxy music video, I have it on my ipod! I have a Monopoly Dollar now!!! I’m gonna invest it in monopoly real estate from the Nintendo monopoly
I actually like the Mario Galaxy theme. It’s got a kind of epic feel to it combined with something you’d hear from a Disney movie. I’m really excited about a sequel to Mario Galaxy. I loved the first game and can’t wait to play this. I’m impressed with the graphics. I’m not sure if it’s the art style or what, but Mario Galaxy is one of the nicest looking games I’ve seen. This is coming from someone who owns an Xbox 360 too.
When I finished the original Galaxy, I really wanted more levels and expansion on the ideas they were coming up with. Some tougher challenges too. I hope this one has a little more direction/story than so many ideas just piled on top of each other.
Bee Mario is back, my wife loves that power up to pieces.
My son was thrilled by this announcement. He loved the first, so it looks like Nintendo will be getting even more of the few dollars I have left. Good thing this doesn’t come out for quite a while. It will give me time to save up my pennies.
Sorry, due to the current economic state I do not have a Monopoly dollar to offer you. Instead, I present you a MonopolI.O.U. to be redeemed at a later time. SUCKER!
Cannot wait. It’s a good thing they announced this alongside New Super Mario bros, something for everyone.
I loved the music in Super Mario Galaxy! Especially the “Gusty Garden” level music, it was beautiful.
I agree with Josh.
I just wished they would give a date.

Look at the beautiful textures in the grass!

I don’t know why this doesn’t excite me as much as New Super Mario Wii. I guess I’m too old school.
I will still play it though, and I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy it a lot.
Can’t begin to say how happy I am about this!
Hopefully the midi music is just a placeholder while they’re recording orchestrated tracks.
That’s what I’m thinking, Soup. It’s not due until next year.
“Don’t-stop me NOW!
I’m havin’ such a good time-I’m havin’ a baaaaaaaaall!
Don’t stop me NOW!
If ya wanna have a good time, just gimme a call!”
If ANYONE gets the above reference, I will give them a Monopoly dollar.
Yay!

Am I the only one perverted enough to think it looks like Mario is humping Yoshi as they fly through the air?
Yes!
