Don’t you mean gleaming two cubes duct-taped together?
Seriously, though, it sure seems like devs are figuring out how to harness graphical power on the Wii. Maybe Super Mario Galaxy inspired them to be less lazy?
I don’t think I’ve played a skating game since some Tony Hawk one back on the PS1.
But that did look good. If good things are said about the Balance Board support I might look in to it.
ps I’m with waltermh on that response to the joke. I thought I spotted a tumble weed make a half assed attempted at rolling past when I read that.
The game looks great for what it is, people need to get over the fact that games on the Wii are simply not going to look as good as 360 and PS3… for a Wii game, it looks great. Good framerate, nice speed… I just desperately hope the balance board controls are more forgiving than the Wii Fit balance games. With a lot of practice it’ll be great, but the learning curve will be too steep for most users if they don’t dial down the sensitivity.
Hopefully the graphics will be like that. But I doubt it. Still looks like fun, though.

david, how can you still say that old joke. there is zero way it is amusing anymore, not even in jest or sarcasm.
and what is gleaming the cube?
Christian Slater? Skate boarding movie?? I thought David’s joke was clever.

that cant be Wii graphics?
Is not THAT good looking
I mean yes, maybe a bit passed PS2 port or XBOX but not even close to say Galaxy, Prime 3 or The Conduit.
