Atlus just sent out a bunch of screens for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei game for the DS, which is aptly titled Strange Journey. The basic story of the game is that at the beginning of the 21st century, there was a sudden massive atomic collapse on the Earth’s south pole. This atomic collapse created a black hole that is slowly expanding day by day and is only known as the  “Schwarzwelt”. With fear that they only had so much time left before the world was destroyed the United Nations sent a group of researchers from all over the world to investigate the area and try to figure out a way to stop the space anomaly altogether.

If you played a previous Shin Megami Tensei title, you would know that there is going to be demons and supernatural beings converging to stop you on your adventure. Since the researchers are going into the Schwarzwelt you can be sure that you will see tons of demons in this Strange Journey.
