Someone please help me name this NES game

On May 23rd, 2005 I originally posed this question on Infendo.org, I mean .com:
I do have a question for all you faithful readers out there; a little gaming nostalgia, and frankly, an answer to my fading memory.
Do any of you remember a game for the NES where you play this robotic guy that can reverse gravity with the click of a button? I can’t remember the name to save my life but I remember it was really good. The dynamics between changing the gravitational pull in mid jump made for some great platforming.
Any ideas?
Help me Infendo Nation. You’re my only hope…

That’s a hard one. The only one coming to mind is Metal Storm. I never played it but remember reading about it in Nintendo Power and even had a poster of it up in my room.

That’s it Streex! (Dang that was fast)
I could be wrong, but I remember this game was most awesome. Anyone else remember it?
VC release please!

Anyone remembers Metal Warriors? This game had the best multiplayer on the SNES, even now it’s awesome. I even bought a USB controller just so I could play it against my friend on a ROM. The greatest part was that you were piloting different mechs, and at any point you could hop out and switch to another one, but you would be vulnerable while running on the ground as a tiny little human. Nothing greater than destroying your friend’s mech and then plowing through him while he’s running for his life =)

Metal Storm. I actually have the cartridge and I haven’t had an NES in ages. But, if and when I do get access to one, I will blow in that cart and play play play.
Or just buy it on VC or something.

Probably not Rad Gravity, that had only one planet level that was upside down. I liked that game, I’d buy it if it crops up on VC. Wasn’t Activision the publisher? *thinks*

That Low G Man game you mentioned was really good also. I got it in the budget bin back in the day. You could jump like 3 1/2 screens high when fully powered up. And you could walk on the ceilings if you got into one of those spider looking vehicles. Great game. Check this one out too Blake.
