Resident Evil 5 accidentally confirmed for Wii?

Sega president tells Kotaku that Resident Evil 5 “will happen on Wii,” only to later call the confirmation a “simple slip of the tongue.” Whatever the case, Sega Capcom would be fiscally negligent not to port RE5 to Wii, given its massive installed base. I say wait for it (let’s just hope the game scales down the 360 engine instead of using a GameCube one like on Dead Rising).
