Since it’s Professor Layton Day in Infendonia, here’s more tidbits about the guy with a PhD in self-promotion:
- Game|Life is reporting that the instruction manual practically confirms the sequel coming to the US.
- Nintendo’s official site is up, including a playable demo!
Now if only another web site would give me some information about the Professor … UPS!

Best Layton story of the day. I paid for this game on Best Buy online with a 10.00 coupon which put the total at 20.00. When I got there they said that the game was listed at 20.00 so they owed me 10.00 to cover the difference. They have a policy of giving 10.00 off if it takes longer than 1 minute which because of the price difference, I was entitled to that as well. So the bottom line is the game is mine for absolutely nothing. Last time I checked Best Buy they still had the wrong price so hurry and you too may get a free game(or at least a 10.00 discount)

is anybody else having trouble downloading the weekly puzzles? My download always craps out halfway. But it doesn’t even say it failed to download, it just exist out. I’m only at the start of Chapter 2; do I have to progress further first before the feature is “unlocked”?
Phantom Hourglass works just find, so I don’t think it’s my DS…

On a somewhat unrelated matter, I am ashamed to say that of all puzzles, I got completely stumped by the Ferry Wheel puzzle… -_-
