I agree with Dustin above. The videos I’ve seen so far on the Nintendo channel don’t interest me whatsoever. While I’m a big Nintendo supporter, Wii Music looks like such an embarrassment.
This doesn’t mean I’d dislike the game. I just don’t see myself sitting down and playing more than once or twice. I just don’t care for musical games.
However I would recommend it to my brother and his family. They are musically inclined, and I can see all four of them having a blast with this. They bought a Wii for Christmas and are looking for games to buy. If Nintendo would have posted the Wii Music Info Video they put up on the Nintendo Channel this week on the internet, I’d show it to my brother and probably sell another copy of the game.
I’ll definitely pass. For one reason there’s a crap ton of other good games coming out in the next month or so that would take my money first. And another reason…..I doubt very seriously if I’d even like Wii Music.
It’s something that I want to try out mainly because I want to hear some songs with taiko drums in them. Fooling around with the animal and cheerleader sounds with some friends seems like fun. Right now, it doesn’t look like a keeper to me, so I voted for waiting ’til it’s cheap.
I think this is the first time I’ve been present the exact minute something went up. Weird.
That would go double for me, fifth person to vote. What I’ll find more interesting is just how many people want anything to do with this game.
Game looks fine, but music/rhythm titles are just not my thing. (With the exception of Donkey Konga on rare occasions…)
Where’s the “Pirate It” option?
@Jeff S.: I think that would be the “wait until it’s cheap (read: free)”, which would be approx. release day.
I watched some videos on the nintendo channel. Wow that was an uncomfortable experience.

Boogie Redux!
I’d rent it just to try Air Bagpiping!

I agree with Dustin, those videos were Tuuuuurble…
I can’t believe G Love was on there.
I have no problem with the game, and I’m sure a lot of people out there will like it. It’s just not for me…

i’ll give it a go. i want to try it before making a stance on it.
I’ll wait until it comes down in price, but I could see my kids getting a kick out of it. Music can captivate them sometimes. They are age 8, 6 & 6.
