I use the case that came with my brain age 2 bundle.
lol, PSP soft case. =P
None. I do keep it in my bag which has some padding, but the thing is a rock. Haven’t had any problems carrying it this way yet.
woot, first “hard case” vote.
i have a gamestop case that’s pretty hard, and has slots for like 16 games. it also has a strap inside so i can strap my ds in as opposed to other cases where the ds can fall out.
it was also only like 10 bucks.
I’m still rockin’ the DS Phat, so any case would just serve to make it pudgier. Plus I have the electric blue one, ands it is very resistant to scratches.
My problem is storage for the games. I’m in eternal fear of losing those little things, I have a soft DS case with a couple of webbing pouches that I keep the games in, but they’re starting to get pretty full. So many good DS games, not enough reliable storage.
stored in a backpack so…. softcase? (games get stored in a webbed-type pocket)
None. I used to use it too much, so I never got a case. Plus, I have a thing on the front (if anyone remembers, it’s the castlevania seal), so it’s almost impossible to put it in anything without the case being overstuffed.
No case… It kind of beats the purpose of a “portable” device, doesn’t it? It adds to the bulk.
I have a DS Lite, and I use it a LOT, so I carry it in my pocket most of the time.
By the way, dawin, I do carry my video game cards separately, because I have a lot of them! And I recomment the case from Penguin United which can carry 24 cards in a space just a little bigger than the DS Lite itself:

Plus, their logo is cute as a button!
I use a soft Club Nintendo Mario Hat case.

naked but always in a pocket or shell for itself.
LOL… I’ve been using the same old soft case that I used for the first GBA (w/o backlighting). It is an original Nintendo product and thus is resistant as hell! Almost 7 years of high honored service! Plus it has room for some cartridges and a spare battery… what more can you ask for!
My original DS has gotten so scratched from me leaving it in the pocket on the car door. My DS lite has a hard case, don’t want my lite getting scratches. Also it has space for 3 games which is always good.
I have a soft case that I got from Fry’s, but the zipper recently broke off. Also there was just a little bit of webbing to hold the games, and I use the word “hold” loosely. So, I’m in the market for something new. For now I use the DS-sized pocket in my messenger bag. And I only carry 1 or 2 games at a time. The rest are stored in a Fossil watch tin, where the foam keeps them tucked in snugly in a nice little circle.
I’ve had my original Mario Kart DS for about two and a half years, haven’t used a case ever, and it’s worn off in a few contact points to wherever I set it down. And, regrettably, a few scratches. But overall, it looks pretty decent, considering its’ high usage and it’s been dropped a couple times. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t look as nice as the DS Lite my parents bought for themselves, I assume just to laugh at the actual Nintendo fan in the house still having to use an original DS. They bought one of those New Super Mario Bros. lunchbox things with all of the DS light accessories (Which was cruel, I was SURE that meant they got me a DS Light, without me even asking), gave me the box, and took all the stuff inside, including a soft case for the DS Light. It works really well, without any sort of detraction from from using it, and if I ever get a DS Light, I will probably get one along with some screen protectors, just to protect the pristine beauty that is the Nintendo DS Light.
Don’t have one.
Rather than use a case, mine is ever-protected by Nerf Armor.
I bought a very durable metal briefcase at GameStop last year. Like most I’d imagine, I also applied invisible screen protectors to both screens as soon as I purchased my DS Lite.
I have a hard case; kind of cheaply made, but it looks spiffy.
Mine has been naked since the day I bought it. Naked and free.
Soft sunglasses case for my Lite.
I use a zppered, black make-up bag that my girlfriend was gonna throw away. Right now I have… let me count: 22 DS games, 7 GBA games, and a lite in it. If I queeze it in there, it will also fit my phat, which I have to have if I want to play Contra 4 (I can’t play that game on the lite, hurts my hands). It’s not real portable with the phat in there, but I carry a messenger bag wherever I go, so I just tossed it in there and it keeps all my portable gaming needs in one place.
I leave it in a clear blue armorlite case that envelopes the entire system while playing, adds very little bulk and makes it look very sweet.
Small red burberry handbag. Hard casing, with metal chain for carrying.
It’s protected by Nerf Armor! With three kids in the house it’s the only way to go.
