Poll – Have you bought any WiiWare games yet?

Just LostWinds for me.. I want to get Strongbad but I’m out of memory. I am going to silently protest by not buying anymore games until I get a solution
But I might just delete lostwinds for it anyway (since I beat it)

Oh duh, I forgot I also got Gyrostarr.. its fun but the motion controls suck on it.

I haven’t bought any yet. I watch every week for the new releases, but so far nothing screams “must have” to me. There are a lot of “maybes”, and I might give them a try when i have nothing else to play. But mainly, I’m waiting for the next batch of games like Alien Crush, Bomberman, World of Goo, and Megaman 9.

Mine’s a yes, LostWinds, add to that Bomberman and Tetris when they’re released.
I feel so so sorry for the 3 so far who don’t own a Wii… You poor poor people.

Yep, I currently have Lost Winds, Gyrostarr, and Toki Tori. All very fun games. No disappointment yet.

LostWinds is the only game that I would consider picking up.
Unfortunately, there is no Demo download like in XBLA, so I dont think I will pick up the game at all.
I hope that there will be some great titles for me to choose from in the future, and maybe even a trial demo download service like the competition already uses.

I was going to get lost wind but held off as money is limited and I only want games that give more bang for the buck in terms of replayability. With a few exceptions I don’t like games that you beat once and forget about them.
Bomberman with online is definitely one I’l looking forward to and Megaman 9 too.

Looking forward to Megaman 9, Strongbad Ep 1-6 (I’ll download Ep. 1 once the Widescreen bug has been fixed), Space Invaders Get Even and Alien Crush Returns.
An to Wii Wii, the videos on the Nintendo Channel, the dozens of positive reviews for the game and comments from those that have downloaded and beaten Lost Winds are still NOT enough for you to spend $10 on the best game on Wiiware BECAUSE there is no demo? So are you broke or something or just enjoy the free stuff and don’t buy the full games?

Lost Winds, TV Show King, Pop, and, um…. I guess the rest are all VC.
I do have a card that I keep meaning to enter so I can get Strongbad and probably Gyrostarr. My rule of thumb is, “would I pay twice as much for this if I were buying it on a disc?” Even with that, there’ve been more WiiWare and VC releases than I’ve had time to play, and I’m getting pretty close to having to face that “full fridge” metaphor Cammie and co. love so much.
