Pokemon Art Academy confirmed for North America

The official Nintendo of America Twitter account has tweeted to confirm that Pokemon Art Academy will be coming to the US this Fall.

As you can see above, the game will be coming to Nintendo 3DS and 2DS. The Art Academy series is known for giving players a variety of tools and (usually) lessons to help them hone their art skills or just go creatively wild. So it stands to reason the Pokemon edition of the game will show players how to draw their favorite Pokemon. The game will hit Europe on July 4.

Is your inner kid going to splurge and get Pokemon Art Academy when it’s released in your particular region? What do you think about North America having to wait longer (again) than Europe for a game, even though it’s a small one? Leave your thoughts in a comment below.

In addition to being a girl gamer, Holly prides herself on being a red-head. Consequently, the blue shell in the Mario Kart series is her natural enemy. Don't worry, though: she still loves Mario Kart and is very good, despite the occasional blue shell-sabotaged race. Like any Nintendo fan, Holly also loves Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Kirby...you name it. But she'll try just about anything (besides horror games) and has a soft spot for unique, little-known rhythm games like Rhythm Heaven and Samba de Amigo. NNID: Aeroweth
