MAYBE the 3rd parties know something we don't but it's more likely we'll have to wait for a Rockband 3rd party controller to game on the cheap. No matter the platform, I'd still rather be able to choose what songs I want but this is a step in the right direction at least to support us non-hard drive supporting Rock Band players.
