PeTA on Cooking Momma

So with Thanksgiving right around the corner, the only way PETA could get their point across about the pointless slaughtering of turkeys, was to try and defile an small iconic video game character. Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals is actually a pretty well made flash game, based on the Wii and DS versions of Cooking Momma, with the added bonus of actually killing animals. It is a good thing that copy write laws don’t apply to names or likenesses of video games.

Thank you PETA.
(caution the flash game is kind of loud.)

Oh, PeTA. Always good for a laugh.

  2. Colbalt says:

The “enhanced ports” tag made me lol.

  4. benthedorklord says:

Good God Mama looks so deranged in this game.

  5. Colbalt says:

F.Y.I. I do NOT however support the PeTA.

  6. deepthought says:

the slaughtering of the turkeys isn’t pointless. i eat them. and not just me. lots of people. turns out they’re delicious!

after all, if god didn’t want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat???

  7. bOB says:

I like how they made mama into a blood thirsty, demonic butcher in the pic :)

  8. Joshdad says:

    @ deepthought

I love it! I’ve never heard that one before, but I sure am going to use it the next chance I get.

The point that PeTA is probably trying to get across is a noble one (animals being mistreated) but… when one delivers a message so full of rage and insanity… it fails on so many levels it’s counter productive.

When it comes to their flash games though, keep em coming! This is certainly one of their best ones thus far and a pretty faithful reproduction, even the sound!

  10. Jeff says:

Talk about low-hanging fruit. Are they bored at PETA or something?

  11. ResidentialEvil says:

I don’t like the mistreatment of animals, but PETA is a lunatic group that lost touch with reality a long time ago. Not only that, they happen to be some of the biggest hypocrites in the world. Do a little reasearch on them and you’ll see what I mean

  12. Medz says:

I love animals. Fun to pet better to chew.

  13. Damien says:

How are they not going to be sued by this… this… blasphemy!?

  14. kyle says:

    @residentialevil:

Well said. It’s not as if they’re an activist group calling for moderation and reasonable treatment of animals; they’ve gone so extremist that they have become out of touch with society.

  15. kyle says:

For Pete’s sake PeTA. Don’t you guys realize that this always backfires? Has this ever worked? You never win, you only alienate.

  16. neko to kuruma says:

I don’t give a rat’s ass (hah) about how animals that are bred specifically for killing and eating are treated. As long as they get thrown onto a grill or in a deep-fryer it makes no difference. That being said, I’m totally against the mistreatment of domesticated and “zoo” animals.

PeTA need to get their heads out of their asses. And maybe stop relying on pure shock value to get their message across.

  17. Michael says:

    Proof read, people, proof read.

The first two sentences make no sense!

It’s almost like PeTA is making fun of themselves on this one.

  20. Owilde says:

I was looking forward to at least cutting it’s head off or sticking it with some battery cables. Cooking Mama should respond with Duck Hunt version with the head of Ingrid Newkirk (current head of PeTA) Bet I score a lot higher ;o)
