I still have mine too, and it still works despite a dead line or two. I wish I had marioland… this is what should be on DSiWare!
Toughest Gameboy game I own is “Megaman in Dr. Wily’s Revenge”… that game is HARD.

My Game Boy (which still works, mind you) was my constant companion on field trips in elementary school. My favorite game from it was Link’s Awakening.
By the way, I got the Game Boy and the Super Nintendo for Christmas when I was in kindergarten, making it arguably the best Christmas ever. Not sure why my parents thought a little kid needed both of those, but I’m sure not complaining!
GAME BOY: A true icon of portable gaming consoles ever to grace our hands. Man how I miss mine. Great moments you and I had, my green, black & white friend, playing games like Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land, Metroid II: Return Of Samus & the DK Land series. Happy 20TH B-DAY!! Game Boy!!!! You truly deserve this honor.
This makes me feel really old. I remember when the Gameboy came out and begging my parents for one. I finally got it, and I never went anywhere without it. After a few years I had about 20 games. I know that’s not a lot by collector’s standards, but it was a treasure trove for me back then. I have fond memories of Final Fantasy Legend 1 & 2, Final Fantasy Adventure, Castlevania, Megaman, Tetris…

My GB works fine, too. It wasn’t until I bought a Game Boy Pocket that I got the first Wario-title. I also got Link’s Awakening at that time. Rock-hard 2D game. I also spammed the “get-straight-ahead-in-the-outer-most-line-in-the-screen-with-bomb-arrow-select-cheat”.

Sadly, I never owned a Game Boy. We didn’t have a lot of money, and I much preferred to have the NES, SNES, or whatever else was out at the time over the Gameboy. I would love to buy a GBColor and catch up on all of those gems I missed out on.
