I could actually see this working if they made an NES game out of a modified version of the Base stages in Contra (The pseudo 3D Stages). Mouse to aim and shoot, d-pad to move. Anyone else think that this might work (assuming that this actually existed in the NES days)?
@Lord Toker: Mario Paint was snes.
I’d hope they would have released left and right-handed versions though (or put a dpad on both sides).
Metroid! move with the D-pad shoot with B jump with A, and aim with mouse!
