In celebration of the now confirmed Mega Man 9 September 24 Japanese release, here’s Dr. Wily’s ship made from beads. About 9,000 beads on 8 layers, to be exact.

Nice ship for Dr. Wily to be cruising in.
Only though, it looks more suited for the Mega Man X series when I look at it, oh well. Now since Mega Man 9 has a September 24, 2008 release for Japan, I have a real nasty suspicion that Mega Man 9 for US will probably be DELAYED until mid October to late October. Call me crazy, but it’s a gut of a hunch on my part.

Want. Really want.
@Steve: Artists don’t do their work in their “free time.” “Free time” is time spent when an artist isn’t creating their work, in fact.

seriously this is awesome. as a traditional artist myself (meaning i do not have the same talent when it comes to graphic design as i do when i use my own hands) and putting together a few mosiacs myself (i also say “put together” as it is not my medium) they are hard and this looks great. almost like it was a sprite from the game. give who ever did this some love people.

yeah but this is geek art, its not like someones going to say “wow, what amazing creative art, its a ship from a videogame that 1 out of 999 people remember. i mean i love megaman, but i can’t remember what the ship looks like
get real, you wouldn’t know art if it crawled out of your plasma screen tv onto your la-z-boy.

Think steve is jealous that he can’t do something like that. >.>
People that say “Oh they have too much free time” are jerks. It’s not like this person spent one entire day making this; projects like these would take a week or a month. Heck, a busy person with hardly any time to spare could do this give or take a few months.
And yes, that bead art is very nice and well done.

steve is obviously a dickhead who puts other people’s work down for no reason. what was the point of being a jerk when all i said is good job, mosaics are hard. which they are espeically with the shading of the ship and all it’s little details. regardless of the subject or how many poeple know what it is a good job is a good job. by your logic no one would like abstract art because no one would know what the fuck it is. besides my dumb ass internet peer this was posted on a nintendo site for fans to enjoy. i believe we know what dr. wiley’s ship looks like and can appreciate the effort for what it was worth. i didn’t say he could sell tickets at the louvre. what a pointless remark made by an idiot.
