I´m pretty sure that the Wiimote+Nunchuk style will be the superior one, even better than the Gamecube one. Wiimote only seem ok, i´ll only change taunt to minus button and grab to A.
I’ll probably try each new style a few times, but ultimately end up using a GC controller. I’ll have to see if it’s easier to wavedash with the Classic Controller. Wavedashing backwards onto a ledge just as someone is recovering is always fun.
If I remember correctly, lead developer masahiro sakurai actually prefers the gamecube controller. I’m just happy they didn’t insist that you paly it with the wiimote and nnchuk only.
[...] Super Smash Bros. Brawl is compatible with four different types of controls: Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller, GameCube Controller and Wii Remote turned on its side. Above is the button layout for the last option. It’s pretty great that Nintendo is providing players with so many options. Though, I think I’m going to stick with the GC Controller thank-you-very-much. You? How to Use Wii-mote [Smash Bros. DOJO!! via Infendo] [...]

So… does this mean that you can’t use standard, non-neutral attacks (u-tilt, etc) with the Wiimote?
